Among the respectable Republicans, questions and doubts had begun to arise. Many have and are expressing those doubts and asking those questions.

Not Henry Bonilla. He remained a soldier to the end. Not only was he a defender of the lies, he was a source of them. There was nothing too vile or too questionable for this stooge to embrace.

Will he fall into ignominy? No. He will be taken care of, just like his fellow crook, the mobster who serves a prison term for one of the leadership, he will emerge with a “pension”. Not only has Henry made sure his accomplices in crime - such as DeLay, Cunningham, Ney and - yes - Mark Foley - will have their congressional pensions, despite illegal activities and gross breach of faith, he will certainly have made sure there is room for him on K Street. More likely, he will be absorbed into a very GOP corporation.
