What’s driving you crazy?

Keeping an eye on that crazy world out there

Ignore the simpering; remember this.

Boy George Bush - Git!As Boy George Bush takes to the airwaves tonight in his State of the Union address, he will continue his simpering about the need to defeat terrorism in Iraq (ignoring, of course, that we were the ones who brought it there).

He will propose some new razzle-dazzle health insurance scheme that will help those who don’t need it, penalize those who are doing just fine and not help those in need a damn bit.

What he won’t talk about is about how cozy he and his big bidness buddies are with China. Unions in Wal-Mart? Not on your life, unless it’s in China. Censorship? Never, unless it’s in China! Embargo or trade sanctions (a la Cuba) until a democratic government is established? Everywhere, except in China.

What really got me this week was the Chinese anti-satellite missile test, the successful anti-satellite missile test. Now, the North Koreans fire off a missle that barely makes it off the launch pad and Boy George goes ballistic (which is more than you can say for a North Korean missile). The strongest Communist country in the world with the largest population in the world shoots a satellite out of the sky and what do we do?

The official reaction is that the test is not a threat to the U.S. Why? Because the Chinese told us so.

If you watch the State of the Union speech tonight, remember that above all else. Everything that is driving this administration’s policies has to do with making the rich richer at all costs.

Buddy, can you spare a cup? Buy this guy a coffee! To donate, click here. Thanks!
