Paris Hilton freed from jail

After three days of silence regarding Paris Hilton’s stay at a Los Angeles County jail, sheriff’s deputies confirmed the socialite had been released and placed under home arrest. The confinement is to last for 40 days and Hilton will wear an electronic monitoring device during that time.
Her medical condition was cited as a reason for the release. Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department declined to give details into the supposed health problems. more…
