This chronicles the visit of the Collings Foundation “Freedom Flight” to San Antonio’s Stinson Field. I got to fly on the foundation’s B-24 Liberator bomber from San Antonio to the next stop, Austin. In flight, the “Witchcraft’s” sister ships, a B-25 Mitchell and B-17 Flying Fortress, can be seen as the three fly in formation.
