Is Rick Perry “evolving” a new immigration policy?

December 4th, 2007 · 1 Comment · Education, GOP Lies, GOP Whores, Immigration, Texas

“Governor Good Hair” (we miss you, Molly Ivens) and his cronies are up to it again.

The Texas Education Agency apparently all but fired science curriculum director Chris Comer last October, after nine years on the job. Her crime seems to be blaspheming “intelligent design”.

So-called “intelligent design” is the latest camouflage catch phrase for teaching the creation story backed by various fundamentalist Christian sects as science. These folks have been waging a jihad against the theory of evolution ever since it hit the bookstores in 1859. Fighting evolution is good money and has bought more mansions, Rolls Royces and Cadillacs for the phony baloney, megachurch and broadcast, Christian ayatollahs than almost any other issue, including abortion (evolution got a head start).

You might have noticed a hint of bias in that last statement.

Many folks, including the Austin American-Statesman (which broke the story) and the New York Times are upset that the state’s science curriculum director was fired for promoting science. You also may include some education groups and science advocacy groups and just about any person who still has snapping synapses that have not been taken hostage by the Genesis Jihadists.

They fail to see the clever scheme behind this. I think Perry’s new appointee as commissioner, Robert Scott, must have a mandate to help clear up the immigration problem. Why else would you appoint someone who is not an educator to head up the state’s education agency?

Here’s the plan.

As bad as they may be, Texas public schools still are producing graduates who can get into colleges (often good ones) or go out and find decent jobs. Therefore, we have no peasant class, as such. This is what fuels the “flood” of illegal immigrants into this country seeking work that U.S. citizens refuse to do because they can get better jobs.

However, what if they could not get better jobs? If we allow the Genesis Jihad to take over biology courses, we can produce students who are as dumb as bricks and have no hope of a decent job. We can really ramp it up if we employ Boy George Bush math and logic to the curriculum.

As Texas creates a generation of fence post dumb workers, the jobs for the illegals will dry up. Texas public school graduates will be sought from all over the nation, wherever there are crops that need picking, houses that need building or hotel toilets requiring a good scrub.

It’s a win-win deal for Perry and his henchmen. Not only have you solved the immigration problem, you have a bunch of non-critical thinkers. They will flock to the megachurches, where their ayatollahs will take what little money they have and tell them to obey their masters. The money fleeced from the faithful will help fuel political campaigns, as well as Rolls Royces and private jets, thus completing the circle.
