Fort Worth, Texas — Gee, ma, if he’s such a liar, why doesn’t someone do something?

Someone with the innocence of a child might wonder how someone who lies can get to be president of the United States. I am not going to pretend that Boy George W Bush was the first. However, a buinch of us down here in Texas tried to warn y’all.

You see, when he was running for governor down here, Boy George did not hold to the truth then either. He got some no account sheriff to make up a story about incumbent Ann Richards using cocaine. Of course, they were able to keep a lid on Boy George’s drugs and drinking and DWI (DUI to some of y’all).

Now, someone actually had the stomach to count the number of lies Boy George and gang told to start this war in Iraq. How they had the stomach for it, I’ll never know. I wouldn’t give you spit for the whole crowd, but it does make pause when I see Colin Powell’s good dragged through the barnyard. However. the Center for Public Integrity (of which I may or may not be a “member”, as I signed up for the email updates after this) lays it all out in “Iraq: The War Card - Orchestrated Deception on the Path to War”.

Don’t y’all just love euphemisms? “Orchestrated Deception” translates in plain English to deliberate and planned lies (Mensonges délibérés et planifiés or Deliberada y planificada se encuentra to our cousins in the North and South respectively). Sad that euphemisms rule.

What does the White House have to say about this? Well, that’s kind of a scream, really.

“The actions taken in 2003 were based on the collective judgment of intelligence agencies around the world,” said a WHite House spokes nave said. Well, blimey!

Here’s a couple of things the report said:

  • In July 2002, Rumsfeld had a one-word answer for reporters who asked
whether Iraq had relationships with Al Qaeda terrorists: “Sure.” In
fact, an assessment issued that same month by the Defense Intelligence
Agency (and confirmed weeks later by CIA Director Tenet) found an
absence of “compelling evidence demonstrating direct cooperation
between the government of Iraq and Al Qaeda.” What’s more, an earlier
DIA assessment said that “the nature of the regime’s relationship with
    Al Qaeda is unclear.”
  • On January 28, 2003, in his annual State of the Union address, Bush
asserted: “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein
recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our
intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase
high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production.”
Two weeks earlier, an analyst with the State Department’s Bureau of
Intelligence and Research sent an email to colleagues in the
intelligence community laying out why he believed the uranium-purchase
    agreement “probably is a hoax.”

So, how did the White House react to reports it had been lying all along? Well, you can plainly see. They lied.

Anyway, Boy George and his hoods publicly lied 935 times before the invasion, according to the study.

We tried to warn y’all, but you didn’t listen.

Now, Boy George’s old buddy “Turd Blossom” is really shooting them out. The new attack on the report is that it didn’t count the lies the Democrats told. Now, those would be the simpleton Democrats were so afraid of looking weak they caved in and starting quoting … quoting what? They were quoting the lies they were handed by the Bush folks.

That brings to mind something else. There’s all this macho talk of going to war and seeking “justice” for Spetember 11th. You ever seen so many macho types cowering and handing over their civil rights and afraid of their own damn shadows as you have seen at the hands of these bald-faced liars? Used to, when this country went to war, we gave it some attitude on the homefront. Not now, on the homefront your job is to be afraid, very afraid, and do as you are told.

Yep, one thing I gotta say for ol’ Boy George. He is an acoomplished liar. Always has been. Always will be.

(the following is well-earned rant)

By the way, Boy George, where is bin Laden?

Justice for 9/11 victims was just another cheap neocon lie. Bush, Cheney, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Sen. John Cornyn, Rep. Michael Burgess all decided a pointless war in Iraq, based on lies, was more important than justice for the victims of September 11th.
Bush, Cheney, Hutchison, Cornyn, Burgess and others decided handing over billions of dollars to Haliburton and other war profiteers with no-bid contracts and no accountability was more important than finding the man behind the murder of more than 3,000 innocents (at the same time, they criticize, ridicule and mock the survivors who take them to task).
