Worst President Rallymebeli (see below) has received a Bronze Telly in the national 29th annual Telly Awards competition.
The video commemorated the “Worst President Rally” held on election eve 2006 in Dallas, Texas. President George Bush was addressing the local faithful. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside on the president’s home turf to denounce Mr. Bush and his policies. The next day, voters handed the Congress to the Democratic Party, and Democrats swept the Dallas County Courthouse.
Historically, Bronze Telly Award Winners typically have represented about 18 to 25% of the more than 14,000 entrants from the United States and foreign countries. It is second only to the Silver Telly Award.
